FAS2020 through FAS6290 still serve 7-mode and early clustered ONTAP. NetApp ended those heads. We still replace controllers, NVRAM, and shelves.
2000, 3000, and 6000-class FAS is EOSL and still in plants and hospitals. 8020, 8040, and 8200 are the common post-warranty quote. We diagnose from logs and fault LEDs and swap the part — including DS14 and DS4246 shelves that outlive the head.
ONTAP software stays on your entitlement. Hardware on the HA pair does not require a SupportEdge renewal.

Do you cover FAS after the manufacturer ends support?
Yes. Send the serial. If we cannot source the part, we say so before you sign.
Do you cover 7-mode FAS that is long past EOSL?
Yes, when the part still exists. 2020/2240/32xx/62xx are quoted from the serial. Clustered 8020/8200/8300 is the same parts model.
Can EOSL hardware share a contract with current equipment?
Yes. Mix service levels in the same room — 2-hour onsite on production, next-business-day on a lab system — including brands the manufacturer no longer lists.
