Microsoft 365
Recycle-bin retention is not a backup.
Microsoft keeps the tenant running. It does not keep a copy you control after a purge, a bad sync, or an account takeover. Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams sit on the same quote as the servers.
Exchange
Mailboxes, folders, messages, calendars, contacts. Restore one mail or the whole box after a purge or a bad rule.
OneDrive
Files, folders, and metadata. Recycle-bin days are not retention.
SharePoint
Sites, libraries, and structure — not only the file someone remembers.
Teams
Teams, channels, posts, files, and the settings that make the tenant usable again.
Security
Ransomware that owns the file server does not own the restore.
Isolated by default
Primary copies are not on the same network as production. Ransomware that owns the file server does not own the restore.
Immutable and encrypted
Copies cannot be altered in place. Encryption in transit and at rest. MFA on the console.

Do we need a backup appliance on site?
No. Copies go straight to isolated cloud storage. If you want a local cache for faster big restores, we can talk about it — it is not required to get protected.
What do you back up?
Windows and Linux servers, workstations, VMware and Hyper-V virtual machines, file shares, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams). Send the list. We still quote what is not on this page.
How often do copies run?
As often as every 15 minutes on systems that need it. Nightly is fine for a file share that barely changes. We set the interval to the recovery point you actually need.
Is Microsoft 365 included?
Yes. Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams are quoted per user on the same service as the servers. Recycle-bin retention is not a backup.
How is it priced?
Per protected server or workstation, and per Microsoft 365 user. Cloud storage is included. Disaster recovery options (standby images, cloud failover) are scoped on the quote when you need them.
What happens in a ransomware event?
The copies are off the production network and cannot be encrypted with the file server. We isolate the live environment, then restore from a point before the encryption — a host, a VM, or a mailbox.
