DS8000 EOSL is a parts and process problem, not a finding that the frame failed. We replace device adapters, I/O drawers, and HDD or flash. Host volumes stay where they are.
XIV, DS4000/5000, and N-Series in the same shop go on the same contract. FlashSystem is a separate family if that is also in the room.

Can you work on DS8880 and DS8900F as well as older frames?
Yes. 8100 through 8980F are listed. Older 8100, 8300, and 8700 are EOSL and still quoted. Microcode policy for z systems is scoped on the quote.
